Located in such a privileged position as to be called the 'belvedere of Piceno', Ripatransone presents itself to every visitor with a marvellous panorama, offering a view that stretches over the valleys of the Menocchia torrent and the Tisino river. The town has a historical centre rich in buildings from the medieval, renaissance and baroque periods, one of the most articulated curtain walls in the Marche region and the well-known attraction represented by the curious 'narrowest alley in Italy', only 43 cm wide. There is also much food and wine excellence to be discovered here, including the production of extra virgin olive oil and DOCG wines.
